This seminar discusses the requirements found in NFPA 72 related to the testing and maintenance frequencies and methods for all fire alarm equipment.  The seminar will familiarize the attendee with how to properly apply the requirements of Chapter 14, Inspection, Testing and Maintenance.  Chapter 14 saw some significant reformatting for the 2013 edition and these changes will be discussed.

This seminar will assist the attendee in understanding when fire alarm systems are required by reviewing the 2015 edition of the International Building Code and more specifically the fire alarm system requirements of Section 907, Fire Alarm and Detection Systems.  Other occupancy specific, and emergency control function, requirements will also be discussed.
